I can imagine your frustration doing the limited strokes because your realism is masterful! Still, I guess all these exercises build on each other...
You're right, Jane. I wanted to keep going on the little warm-ups to make them more finished, which is why I just HAD to do this one!
Sketches in oil are good too, though. I enjoy trying to capture a subject quickly and efficiently, so it's all good.
I'm really drawn to this plum red color. It's so intense in depth. very pretty
I'm glad to know you like this, Mary. I also thought that deep red was luscious!
