Yes, this was plum fun to paint! Enjoy the serotonin boost. I sure did.
Welcome to my Art Blog! I paint or draw most weekdays and sometimes finish a painting a day. I fondly call them my "Postcards from Paradise" because it's such a beautiful place the Lord made here for us.

You have captured the blue tones of the plums beautifully Diana. I love that bloom they have. I also really enjoyed your "process" post below, especially knowing which colours you had used for different parts of the painting. Thanks for sharing that!
I'm glad to know you enjoyed that, Sheila. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement and praise.
...and plum luscious to look at...
Diana.. love your plums... those purples...so cool
Thanks, Dianne and Sylvia. Color is amazing, and especially that God gave us eyes to see it.
NOW you're cookin'!! With three objects and a diagonal thrust through the page, along with those fabulous "near" complimentary colors, this is one sweet painting!
It's nice when it all works out, isn't it?!
I really did have fun painting this one and was thinking today of what kind of composition I'd like to try for a larger piece.
Just adore them on that cloth, fabulous color!
I liked that too, Robin. The oranges and violets really sing together.
Thanks for dropping by!
